The Greater Hyderabad Development Forum comprises with several community groups from all parts of Hyderabad City including those representing residents, tenants, the arts, the environment, childcare, youth, disability, new communities, diversity, the homeless, and sports & recreation. Membership of the Greater Hyderabad Development Forum is open to any group, club or organisation that operates on a voluntary, co-operative or not-for-profit basis for the benefit of the community. We strongly recommend to join us to make our Hyderabad city clean and green with complete facilities to utilize. Greater hyderabad development forum has focused on the city development plan for which gives a fairly comprehensive picture of the city, as it is today and where it wishes to go. Greater Hyderabad Development Forum wishes to become a ‘Global City and a ‘City without Slums’. What We Do Existing situation analysis has been presented very well and contains details of various sectors and services. This section covers not only the physical aspects but also covers the financial aspects of the services for the Greater Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (GMCH) and the surrounding municipalities separately. It also clearly outlines the institutional responsibilities for each service and indicates the key issues and challenges for each aspect covered. Basic Services to Urban Poor have been dealt with separately and in reasonable detail. Vision and Strategies The vision statement is clear and the chapter outlines th e vision for different services component wise. "Hyderabad wants to become a Global City and wants to provide good quality services to all and make the city liveable."
